Privacy at Fittie
Plain-language summary · Last updated June 2026. This is a pre-launch draft and not the final legal text — a reviewed version ships before public launch.
The short version
Fittie is built privacy-first. Your health data is yours: you choose what stays on your device, what syncs, and whether AI ever sees it. We don't sell your data, and Fittie is not a medical product — it surfaces signal from what you log, never a diagnosis.
You choose what leaves your device
Every protocol has a privacy mode, and you can change it anytime:
- Local only — your data stays on your device. Zero cloud egress.
- Private sync (default) — your data syncs to your account under strict per-user access control, but is never sent to any AI model.
- Cloud AI— you opt in, per protocol, to let Fittie's AI use your data to personalize and adapt your plan.
What we collect
Your account email, and the fitness & health data you choose to log — protocols, workouts, meals, and daily check-ins. Biometrics (sleep, heart rate, HRV, steps) are collected only if you explicitly connect a health source. Data is stored under row-level security so each account can only ever read its own rows.
Analytics never carry your health data
Product analytics are anonymous and routed through a scrubber that strips personal and health content before anything is sent — by construction, raw health data cannot leave through analytics. We use this only to understand and improve the product.
Not a medical service
Fittie provides general fitness and wellness guidance. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and its scores reflect associations in your own data, not a diagnosis. Talk to a qualified clinician about medical concerns.
Your controls
You can export all of your data, delete your account, revokeany API key, and switch any protocol's privacy mode — at any time, from the app.
